Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Life Receipt, LLC for the LifeReceipt app. Using the app means you accept them.

1. What LifeReceipt is

LifeReceipt is a self-tracking app. It takes what you log about your day and presents it as a receipt, and it lets you earn refunds by completing activities it can verify through Apple Health.

It is not medical, psychological, or financial advice, and it isn't a substitute for professional help. Decisions you make based on what it shows you are your own.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the app. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, give us accurate information, and let us know if you think someone else has access. You must be at least 13 years old.

3. Subscriptions and auto-renewal

4. What you agree not to do

5. Your content

What you log stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it so the app can work — generating your receipts, tracking your refunds, and syncing across your devices. We don't claim ownership and we won't publish it.

6. Our content

The app, its design, the receipt format, the name, and the code belong to Life Receipt, LLC. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app while your subscription is active. Nothing more is granted.

7. Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We'll give notice where we reasonably can. Features that depend on Apple's frameworks or on other services can change when those change.

8. Termination

You can stop at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't guarantee that the figures it produces are accurate, since most of them come from what you enter.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as they legally can.

10. Apple

These terms are between you and Life Receipt, LLC, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or for support, and has no warranty obligation with respect to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and continuing to use the app after an update means you accept it.
